Chandler Smith of Talking Rock, Georgia won stage one & stage two of the Xfinity LiUNA! 200 lap contest at Las Vegas Motor Speedway last night.
Smith, driving the No. 81 Quick Tie Toyota for Joe Gibbs Racing, finished the day with a top five finish in 3rd place after starting on the front row behind pole sitter Cole Custer.
Smith’s JGR teammate, John Hunter Nemechek, drove his No. 20 Toyota to victory lane while leading an impressive 99 laps for the day.
Stewart-Haas Racing had a strong day, placing two Ford drivers in the top five. Pole sitter Cole Custer drove his No. 00 to a 2nd place finish.
Las Vegas local Riley Herbst closed out the top five for Stewart-Haas with a 5th place finish in his No. 98 Monster Energy Ford.
Winston, Georgia’s Austin Hill, driving his No. 21 Bennett Chevrolet, had an impressive 4th place finish for Richard Childress Racing.
Marietta, Georgia’s Corey Heim, fresh off last night’s top five finish in the Truck Series’ 200 mile contest, drove his No. 26 Toyota to a 13th place finish for Sam Hunt Racing.
